Excerpt
Noah Monroe lay back in his bed and closed his eyes. He desperately hoped that she was going to show-up again tonight in his dreams. Hell, for the past five months, ever since he'd lost his little Sarah, she'd come to him. She made the heartache a little bit less.
He spent way too much time sleeping these past months. He knew the people that worked for him were worried, but he didn't care. Hell, most of them barely liked him any more anyway.
"Good evening."
Her calming voice slid over him like a warm blanket.
"You came."
She smiled at him and his stomach tightened.
"Have I missed a night, yet?"
No. She hadn't. Every night for the past five months she'd showed up in his dreams. At first he thought he was going crazy, but after a few weeks he didn't care. This dream woman was giving him the only remaining connection to he had to his daughter.
"How's Sarah?"
His dream woman crossed the room, her flowing dress trailing behind her as it hugged her curves at the same time. She perched on the end of his bed, one leg curled up under the other one.
"She's fine. She misses you but she asked me to tell you that she made some new friends."
If he had a heart anymore it would've broken when he thought about his little girl. But his heart had died at the same time his daughter had.
"Why can't I see her?"
He didn't know why this woman came to him every night. He desperately wanted to see Sarah, but instead this angel appeared every night.
"I'm sorry," she said. "But I've told you. Even I shouldn't be coming here. Sarah can't leave."
"Don't you ... can't I at least see a picture of her?"
She shook her head.
"I'm sorry, Noah. Maybe I should stop coming here."
She got up and started towards the door.
"No!"
She paused but didn't turn around. Moonlight streamed through the window hitting her absolutely perfectly. Her long blond hair shone around her like a halo.
Well, that made sense. She was his angel.
"Please don't go," he said, calmer this time.
She walked over to the window peering outside. Tanner wondered what she saw out there. His property had once been his pride and joy.
He got up and joined her at the window, though neither of them spoke.
In the distance he could see the light shining from the barn. The corral was illuminated slightly where horses meandered around waiting for the hands to put them in their stalls for the night.
"Sarah used to love the horses."
His angel smiled.
"Now it's unicorns."
Unicorns.
This was getting out of hand. He was getting way too far off the deep end.
"Tell her I love her."
Noah walked back to his bed and climbed in.
"I will," she replied.
He rolled over. He knew that when he woke up in the morning she'd be long gone. Only the faint hint of her perfume would remain.
And that scent would stay with him throughout the day. Until he went to bed that night.

Great Gods and Goddesses I can't stop crying! This was the most heartfelt story I have ever read. Emma Sinclair is a writing Goddess herself. What a beautifully drawn story. My heart broke for Noah when he lost his little girl and it filled when Lacy entered his life. All the old characters are back in this sequel, which I loved. I didn't have to miss what was also happening between them. Emma Sinclair knows how to reach her readers on a very basic heart wrenching level and that is very rare. I just cannot get enough of all of these characters! Thank you, Ms. Sinclair for writing such amazing characters and such splendid stories for each of them. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Loving Fate is the second part of the Fate Series. Like Tempting Fate, this book is a must-read. Lacy is such a sweet and caring soul and Noah is a loving father as well as a wonderfully understanding man. The love shared between Noah and Lacy leaves a warm feeling in your heart and the sexy hot love scenes will leave a warm feeling in other places! I have really enjoyed both books in this series and can't wait to read Atty's story!

Once again, Emma Sinclair has written a brilliant story with the second installment of the Fates Series in Loving Fate. This story finds us once again exploring the lives of the Fates, including the epilogue of the lives of Tanner and Chloe, the main characters in the first story. I couldn't imagine being the one that decides when a life ends, and I could feel the pain and agony each of the sisters felt each time it came to that point. Luckily, these moments are few and we get to laugh with the antics of Tanner and his attempts at his newfound powers, which is also how Noah finds his life turned upside down. With one night of fantastic sex, Noah and Lacy sealed their fate and had to figure out how to make it work, which was both humorous and sad at the same time. We all know how it feels to love someone only to think you can't have him or her. In between laughing at the sisters, I also spent ample time enjoying the hot sex that Noah and Lacy had, anywhere, anytime. A delightful story, tempered with really great sex, Loving Fate is another winner.

Loving Fate has a nice premise and likable characters. Tanner with his bumbling but good-hearted ways adds a comic touch. The conflict is real and heart wrenching. The romantic interludes sizzle.
