Back in the saddle…kind of
So after our visitors last week I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things.
We had a great time with our visitirs, though remind me to catch up on a few years sleep before I ever decide to have a baby. I don’t know how something that sleeps, eats and poops can make you that tired!
Anyway, we took them to the airport on Saturday afternoon, came home and putzed around a bit until I fell asleep on the couch. Then, on Sunday morning, the hubster and I both woke up sick.
Between the two of us, we’ve got a really bad case of the flu, luckily (knock on wood) neither one of us is quite so bad on our own (well, except to hear him you’d think he was dying). He’s god a cold (a quite deadly one I assure you), I’ve got the sore throat, headache, icky tummy, feverish feeling.
But at least the weather is beautiful. They’re calling for 80 degrees today!!
But I’ll spend it inside trying to catch up on everything and maybe (hopefully) even writing a little bit.

Ha, every time we visit the relatives and their multitude of sprogs, we get sick…we think everyone under 16 is a carrier of something. Enjoyed the treasure left after a fabulous visit.
This weekend we sat in the sun and the cutie had a good burn [sticks, cans, bottles and what ever they could find in a big metal barrel] with his buddies and beer, while I watched the ice hockey - go Devils :-).
