Sugar overload
The hubster was off on Friday and we went to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. I had a yummy burger, but naturally, I brought cheesecake home for later.
And one of the things I got myself for my Easter basket was some scrapbooking stuff. Since I had plans to scrapbook over the long weekend, the Easter bunny came early, complete with jelly beans.
I ate my cheesecake. And jelly beans. I also bought a Rice Krispy Treat Kit to make festive treats with icing and (yay) more jelly beans.
For dessert tonight we had Strawberry shortcake.
I’m on complete sugar overload!!
All weekend, I’ve been going, going, going and then BAM, all of a sudden I crash. Until I eat more jelly beans anyway.
The hubster is going to have to hide the easter candy before he goes to work tomorrow. Although I did manage to get A LOT done in my sugar fueled state. I finished my college scrapbook (which I started few years ago) and did my entire high school scrapbook.
Hmmm, maybe all that sugar really isn’t so bad. I’ve got a lot to do this week.

I love the Cheesecake Factory!
Just about every Holiday now requires sugar. Candy especially. Maybe I’ve noticed it with the kids — Halloween follows into their November birthdays, then Christmas, then it’s Valentines… plus all the class birthday parties throughout the year. There’s no escaping the candy!

Everyone says it’s money, but I think Sugar drives the world. Just think of the power you’d have if you controlled all of the world’s sugar….

I forgot to buy marshmallow eggs this year. :( That’s my favorite Easter treat. But we had LOTS of jelly beans, which are Mr. Robin’s fave. :)
