A long weekend

So, it’s Good Friday (well, it’s all right).

The hubsters job follows the same shedule as the NYSE which means he’s off today. Which means a three day weekend. Which means 72 hours of togetherness trapped in a really small house.

Yay.

Actually, he got guitar hero 2 the other day for his Xbox so he’s been playing rock star for the past few evenings, and I’m guessing that will continue. If the Easter Bunny comes early then I think I’ll try to do some scrapbooking. I’m going to try really hard not to do a ton of work, just keep up with the stuff coming in.

We’ve already discussed lunch and grocery shopping today and breakfast/brunch on Sunday. And he promised he’d take me for ice cream sometime this weekend!

On Saturday I’ll be blogging at Word Flirts and on Sunday I’ll be over at SEx.

What do you have planned for the weekend?

    Have a happy Easter!

My family is making their annual pilgrimage out to see us and work on our house. This year we’re putting in new kitchen/dining room flooring. It’s going to look so pretty!

Hi Emma! Sounds like fun! My hubby is taking the two oldest to a Cubs game and I’m hoping to play catch up with ton’s of little things I’ve been putting off to get my second polishing attempt done on PD - which I finished last night!!!! WooHooo! Already I’ve dived into updating things on my website… lots more to go but I’m happy for the change in pace. I know that after a couple days of doing this I shall then be ready to dive back into one of my two new ms’s I’ve got going. :) And that can’t be beat! Have a great Easter!

I’ve had a lovely weekend already. Took the kids shopping for Easter clothes today, stopped in at the Chevy dealership, and came home with a shiny new toy. :D Tomorrow we clean house and then go to a niece’s 5th birthday party. Sunday is church (where I’m singing in a ladies’ trio, believe it or not) followed by an all-day Easter event at MIL’s house. Monday I’ll have two extra kids (ages 3 and 6) because their mother works and their babysitter’s on vacation. My dance card is officially full for Easter weekend. :D
