Too many? Don’t even open that door! I will admit to a very sick passion for shoes. As for how many is too many for a trip? That’s just plain silly. You have to be prepared for every event, possible occassion, and weather situation. You don’t want to get trapped in strappy sandals if a freak chill happens, right? And you don’t want to be trapped in penny loafers if the weather is ripe. Oh, wow, that reads rather prissy, doesn’t it?

For a woman, there are never enough shoes. Our outfits are too diverse and thus, require shoes to coordinate. Now I admit to being a bit frugal in that I try to buy shoes that will go with several outfits.

How many is too many? I don’t know. There is no ‘too many’ when it comes to shoes.

I hardly wear most of mine. Well, it’s a bit silly for sitting at the computer. But even though I usually just wear trainers or flat boots, I love my shoes, the sillier the better!

Mr. Robin would laugh himself silly if he saw me tottering around the farm in shoes like that. Somehow those cute little styles just don’t translate well to size twelve feet. I have four pairs of relatively expensive (around $100 each) shoes — one pair each of neutral pumps, Oxfords, New Balance athletic shoes, and sandals — and two pairs of crappy Payless pumps. That’s it. I don’t spend any more time looking at shoes than I absolutely have to, so I’ll bet I could get out of DSW without spending a penny. :D
