Who’s going to Dallas?
After a lot of hemming and hawwing - I just had this bad feeling that something was going to come up and I wasn’t going to be able to go - I’ve decided to actually bite the bullet and sign up. And if something doesn’t end up coming up, well, I’ll just have to deal later.
I admit that I have less than no desire to go to Dallas. Texas at all for that matter, but with groups and loops abuzz, I’m getting excited.
VP Emma is already planning the Passionate Ink luncheon - and if we go with the place we want, it should be really fun!
RWAOL is planning both a pubbed authors only get together and an everybody get together. I hadn’t been a member that long in Reno so I didn’t really know anyone - but two years later, I’m really excited. Plus, Mel should be dying her hair pink in honor of her first sale!
And apparently the Romance Diva’s just party all the time!
Workshops? What workshops?
So, I’m getting really excited, but I haven’t registered yet, nor have a booked a flight or a room (anybody need a roomie?)
I’ll ask again - are you going to Dallas? What are you most excited about?

Hey Emma. No. I’m not going to nationals this year. Don’t have the extra cash with everything else. But sounds like a blast though!

I’m going! I can’t wait to actually meet everyone face to face. That’s what excites me the most. :)

I’m so excited that you’re going! And frankly, I’m none too thrilled about Dallas itself, either, except from the standpoint that it’s within driving distance. Socializing — er, networking will be my highest priority. I’ll give myself a gold star if I make a grand total of four workshops and four publisher spotlights.

I don’t think I”m going ot be making it this year :( I did stripe my hair pink so that should account for something.
It’s not entirely pink but hot pink/crimson stripes lol

I’m going for the first time. So far everything’s in alignment. And I’m a member of Passionate Ink so if you do have an event can you let me know? I’d love to attend.

It’s going to be so exciting to see so many first sale ribbons, too!!
I took my camera to Reno but came home wiht a whopping 0 pictures. I’ll have to remedy that in Dallas!

I’m going! I can’t wait. I’m excited for…everything! But especially meeting everyone. That will be so awesome.
