I noticed several people commented yesterday on the insanity of my Xmas cards going out so early. I have this competition with myself, you see. I MUST be the first Xmas card received. I MUST!

Granted, not all the cards have gone out yet (and I have yet to have anyone tell me they’ve received mine), I’ve still got a stack next to me on my desk and I continue to add people to the card list, but…

Yes, I’m crazy.

And I’m feeling even more crazy this year. I have 20 more days to shop, need a handful of gifts yet, the ones I do have are already wrapped and under the tree, yet I feel I need to finish my shopping NOW!!!

I think part of the crazyness is actually the fact that I haven’t written since I hit my NaNo 50K back in earlyish November. I get crazy when I don’t write for a long time and that combined with the Xmas Crazies is making me nuttier than a fruitcake.

And now, Stacy has reminded me that it’s time to start making my cookies, especially if I have to send some out. *Sigh*

How do you beat the holiday/not writing/any type really crazies?
