I think I got tagged, but I apologize for not remembering who tagged me. I was going to play this one anyway, ’cause it looks like fun!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot chocolate. The kind from the packet but preferrably with mini-marshmallows or peppermint and whipped cream. Or all of the above.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa doesn’t wrap presents, the elves wrap them for him! When I was a kid you could tell the Santa presents because they were wrapped in different wrapping paper.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored on the tree (because it came with them) but white on the house ’cause that’s what I’ve got.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? Fake, plastic mistletoe? Yes.

5. When do you put your decorations up? The day after Thanksgiving (or weekend after). The same time my Xmas cards go out.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Cookies!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? My Nana always pulled the “there’s one more present, but it’s for Papa, but you should open it for him” trick. It was usually one of the things I wanted the most. Specifically the year I wanted a purple Huggabunch doll. I didn’t know what my Papa would do with a doll.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What do you mean, truth about Santa?

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Only one (usually pajamas).

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? We got a new pre-lit one with colored lights. Random assortment of ornaments, no specific colors or anything. Hubsters dorky ones, my disney ones and now ones from travelling together.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it from inside or for playing.

12. Can you ice skate? Surprisingly yes! I’m actually not half bad.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Birdie Jenny was my first cabbage patch doll, purchased in the inital madness of cabbage patch dolls.

14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Cookies!

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Peppermint ice cream.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Instanity. I love the craziness of the holidays. Like the fact that Xmas could come tomorrow and I’d be totally ready, even though I will continue to stress myself out for the next 20 days.

17. What tops your tree? Stuffed Tigger dressed like an angel.

18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving? Giving. When you’re surrounded by as many practical people as I am, it has to be giving. Did I mention the year my “big gift” from the hubster was a whole car washing kit?

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Little St. Nick by the Electric Mayhem

(I’ve got an e-copy of Commuting, my sexy confession to Venus which comes out on Wednesday for the first person that can tell me who the Electric Mayhem are - it was a trivia pursuit question last weekend that no one but me got).

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Yummy! Especially dunked in hot chocolate.
