Procrastination Station
Ugh! I would like nothing more today than to snuggle into bed with a good book and stay there all day.
But…I gotta NaNo.
I got up this morning, took my shower and then crawled back into bed for an hour. Okay, an hour and a half-ish. Oops.
My original plan had been to go to Starbucks today, but I’m feeling like a homebody. But if I stay at home I don’t think I’ll get as much done.
Decisions, Decisions.
Maybe if I force myself to write a whole lot in the next few hours I can take the afternoon off?
Uh-oh, that’s how the procrastination starts. First it’s deals with yourself, then it’s “oh, I just have to check my email one more time,” and BAM, the next think you know the day is over and you haven’t even opened Word.
While I don’t know if I’ll be a homebody or not yet today (probably will) I WILL get a lot accomplished.
I just have to check my email one more time….

I hear you, Emma. I wrote my blog post and immediately rewarded myself with a nap. (Well, I have a sinus headache!) I can’t go to Starbucks, but I’m going to make a nice big cup of Island Coconut coffee and think of you, clattering away. Good luck!

Man - your just what I needed to read right now! I now have opened my word…. and once I’m done here I’m going to work on editing the ending… soon… very soon… ;)

You have the luxury of procrastinating - you’re kicking NaNo bootie!!! I, on the other hand, am not able to procrastinate because I’m so grossly behind on my wordcount. At the rate I’m going, I’ll be lucky to finish by the end of the year!

Oh, Emma. It’s so haaaaard!! But I know you can finish. You can do it.
