The early bird…gets something!
I don’t really like worms all that much (and I think they’re drowning in our backyard from all the rain) but there might actually be something to this “getting up early” stuff after all.
The hubster has been getting into work at around 8:30-8:45ish every day this week. Since he’s not quiet AT ALL while showering and stuff, I’ve been up then, too.
Yesterday I took a walk, today, I took him to work and then went to the grocery store. Now, it’s 10:00 and I’ve got the whole day in front of me.
The hubster has been working until after 6 (I’ll probably have to leave to go pick him up at about 6ish). Even with all my errands already done, I have 8 full hours to work.
And you know what I realized yesterday, it’s impossible to procrastinate for 8 hours. Eventually, I will get some work done myself!
And I’ve scheduled in some reading time. If I do a good days worth of writing work, I get to knock off at 5 and read until the hubster gets home!
Now it’s time for me to be off to work…

I CANNOT wait til the day when my children are all in school and I have the majority of the day to write. That sounds like bliss.
And it also makes me sound like a bad mama, cos I should savor these times with them when they’re young, which I am. But still…
A mama can dream…

You think it’s impossible to procrastinate for eight hours? Ha! You should shadow me at work today. Watch me in action. I’m living proof that it CAN be done!!!
Have a great day, reading and writing!

Emma I have to smile every time you talk about how badly you procrastinate - because you’ve given me reason to be happy I have such a busy schedule — since I only get about two hours if I’m lucky… to write - I don’t have the ‘time’ to procrastinate. Or by the time I’d have finally gotten in the mood to write - my time would be up. Guess there is something good afterall about too busy! :)
Have fun writing!!!

Actually, if you try really, really, REALLY hard you can procrastinate for 8 hours! It’s good you’re not though!

Well, I actually got really close to procrastinating for 8 hours today, but I did a little bit of work.
Trust me though, it was just a little.

I don’t know if I’d say it’s IMPOSSIBLE to procrastinate for 8 hours. Is that some sort of challenge? Because I’m willing to take it on :-). But I’m glad you’re getting stuff done. Really glad!
