Still alive - mostly

We’re in New York now. In the new house.

After today we have a blue bedroom, and theoretically we should have a beige-y brown-y living room after tomorrow.

We’ve been to Target and WalMart more times than I care to count in two days.

Oh, and our stuff doesns’t actually get here until Tuesday so we’re sleeping on the air mattress for another few days.

I really hate moving.

On the plus side, my new grocery store has a really cool book section (though they didn’t have the September Blazes, yet). The selection at Target seemed a bit more romance heavy than my old Target, and they had the Sept Blazes, so I got Jill Shalvis’s new one.

Anyway, I’ve managed to check out a few blogs today but it’ll still a few before I’m back into the swing of things. Plus, I need a new deck.

Hopefully I’ll have some pictures to share in the next few days, too!

I hope everyone is doing well! Make sure to let me know here if anything exciting happens! (Oh, and while I have internet, it’s not perfect yet, and I’m not sure if I can actually send email - though I can definitely get it).

So glad to hear the move went smoothly. And glad to hear the stores around you stock romance books (an important thing, I know). Jill Shalvis’ book is soo good! I hope you like it! I loved it!

Hope your painting goes well. I like to paint. I’ve been itching to paint lately but I like to wait till Fall or Spring cos it’s just too hot right now to do that….

    And plus I’m lazy. :)

What a relief I bet to be in the new house; a good beginning to getting settled and then finding your way around and getting familiar with the area.
You’re painting, we’re filling in stucco on the outside of our house. I know the feeling even though I haven’t been through the ‘moving’ part. Best wishes!!!

Glad the move is going as smooth as a move can go! You’re so organized, painting before your stuff gets there. We meant to do that. In 2003. Maybe next fall we’ll finally get the painting done.

Good luck with the belongings. Hope the air mattress doesn’t hurt the back ;-)

How did I miss you’re in NEW YORK?
I knew you were moving but didn’t realize there.

    Have a blast!

Wow! It’s been awhile since I’ve been to your site. I’d remembered reading that you were moving awhile back, but didn’t know it was to NY. I’ve always wanted to go there. It’s on the top of my list of places to visit sometime in my lifetime.

Anyway, you’ve written quite a few books I knew nothing about. Now I’m gonna have to go broke buying all of them LOL I hope the movers get there sooner than expected with your things. Enjoy the painting!
