Mission: Pants!!
I have no pants. Well, I mean I suppose I dod have pants, but only a few pair, and even fewer pairs that I actually like.
See, I’m a bit on the short, round side. It’s impossible to find pants. Along with being short and round (I can’t even worry about length anymore) I have a relitively high waist. So, pants that are advertized as “at waist” are really below my waist, “low rise” pants are “Emma tugs at her pants all day to make sure they stay up” and “ultra low rise” pants are “Emma’s ass is hanging out.”
Well, with the style being “ultra low rise,” it makes it even harder to find pants, damn it!!
Factor in the fact that I’m super cheap and that means Emma has no pants.
So today’s mission, which I have been forced to accept is to go out and find pants. And this mission must succeed. I leave for Florida on Wednesday and I don’t think I want to walk around nekked. That would not be a pretty sight.
So today I go in search of summer pants! Wish me luck!

I totally know where you’re coming from on this one, except that I’m tall. I’m very curvy and high-waisted, so yup, have the exact same problem. I’ve found this wonderful consignment store close to my house that seems to specialize in pants I like though, so that’s my place. :) I’m a sucker for a really good fit in jeans especially. :)
I’m was sad to hear you’ve been sick lately. I had that a few months ago and actually ended up the hospital. That is never fun. *sigh*

Good luck on the Great Pants Hunt! I hate shopping for clothes. Unless I can buy them online. :) Though, of course, if they don’t fit then you have to go to all the trouble to return them….

I have the same problem! You would think that with the number of people I hear complain about the style and fit of jeans, companies would do something… It’s to the point now that I always buy two pairs if I find something that fits nice. ALWAYS.
Have a super trip. What are you buying pants for anyway? Isn’t florida shorts and tank top weather?

I’ve ALWAYS had trouble finding pants. I carry most of my weight in the bum and the low rise won’t go over my legs and the high rise won’t go over my bum! i hate pants shopping.

I went shopping for pants yesterday, too. Is it too much to ask for pants that don’t emphasize my tummy and don’t show my pantiline? Or that, you know, fit both ass and waist?
I came home empty handed. Hope you have better luck!
