I finished one set of edits yesterday! Wahoo!!

Today is errand day. I’m going to the eye doctor and then to Target and then to dinner with Jenny Crusie and Bob Mayer (yes, I’m going to drop names as many times as I can and only feel slightly bad about it).

Then tomorrow I’m set to learn. Kind of. I’ve heard them speak before and really I expect to spend most of the day jaw agape, mind whirring at the fact that they’re so damn brilliant, while I’m just fooling people and really I’m a no talent hack. But I guess it should be fun anyway. To bask in their brilliance. Maybe some of it will rub off on me.

So, I accomplished just about everything that I set out to accomplish this week. Not the edits on Double Jeopardy, but to be fair I’m stuck on the same part where I was stuck writing the damn book and back then I just said, “Bah, screw it, I’ll fix it in edits.” Well, now it’s come time to fix it. Damn it, I hate how that works.

Anyway, I did lots of prep for the workshop tomorrow (have a bit more to do today - and by prep I mean not learning how to learn or anything, I’m in charge of raffle baskets!) and I’ve got a fabulous workshop to look forward to tomorrow as a reward.

What are you proud of accomplishing this week? And all the stuff you didn’t do - that doesn’t count - at least I’m not counting it! Today the glass is half full! (Tomorrow we can all go back to glass empty).
