Spring sucks

I’m tired of feeling like crap. This spring stuff is really starting to suck.

I’m tired of sneezing all the time, I’m tired of the burning eyes, the wonky balance from my sinuses being under so much pressure. The painful sinus headaches that sneak up on out of no where and then practically cripple you with pain.

Damn spring.

I’d say I’m ready for summer, but it gets so damn hot (and humid) here that it’s no fun to go out. I believe I spent most of last summer in the apartment with the air conditioning on.

Spring is kind of nice, I suppose. There’s lots of bunnies around the apartment complex, and they’re fun to watch, especially when they have the white cotton ball tails, even though I am VERY allergic to them when they get up close.

And there’s lots of birdies, and they’re kind of fun when I don’t have to worry about them living in my dryer vent.

Of course, my new blue car now looks green from all the pollen falling from the tree next to my parking space.

But would I rather have the fresh spring air that makes me ill, or the hot summer air that I shut out and therefore get forced airconditioning air?

Decisions, decisions? What’s your favorite season?

I love each season as it comes. I’m always reading for the last season to shake its self loose and let the new one in. If I had to pick I guess I’d pick fall but… truly I like each one as it comes.

Fall. The weather’s as nice as spring but without the allergies (I have them too). Plus I love the leaves changing colors, and I love when they fall from the trees and crunch underfoot, and I love the feeling that the Earth is going to sleep for a little while.

Plus I love when Daylight Savings Time ends.

Cole - I like your idea of liking the beginning of each new season! I’ve really been loving spring until the allergens got all riled up.

December - I think I’ll have to agree with you. I love the smell of Fall!

Hugs, Emma! We’re just finishing our bad pollen time here and it hasn’t been fun!

I think I like whatever season is coming next and that like remains in place until the season begins irritating me. :-) Then I’m ready for the next. Except maybe summer. It’s so hot and humid here… Yuck!

I’m not sure which season I like best if there is even one; I can find fault with each season .
I need to be careful for wind b/c of ear aches and it seems windy no matter what season.
I would pick between spring and fall: the summer is too hot for me and the winter too cold. LOL.

I love ‘em all! Fall is probably my most loved season because of the warm days and cool nights, bonfires, cider, festivals, hunting season and fall color.

But honestly there’s activites and annual events I enjoy in each and every one including winter. I don’t think I could ever live (or retire) somewhere warm in the winter.

Winter. I live in Arizona, so the winter season is nearly perfect–gets in the 70s sometimes, but usually somewhere in the mid 50s to 60s, and crisp, cold nights. And no snow! LOL Spring has too much pollen (I’ve got a mesquite tree outside my patio door that’s dropping yellow pollen everywhere, which means I can’t go in my backyard right now (you got it, I’m allergic to mesquite). Why couldn’t I have gotten a rental house with a mesquite that doesn’t bloom?!? Fall is nice, too, but temps are still in the 90s for much of it. Summer? Fuggedaboudit. Can you say h-e double hockey sticks?
