Upcoming Excitement

I’m kicking this books butt - yesterday 16 pages!! Granted that’s not enough to have be finishing the book this week, but it’s still pretty impressive to go from 0 to 350 words to 16 pages. I’ll consider it a success.

And I’ll remind you to please answer the questions on this post. You don’t have to answer all of them, I do realize that there are a lot of questions. But if you answer something I’ll have a promo pack coming your way (once I get your addresses, duh) and somebody could win something cooler!

Hey, did I tell you all that I’m going to Florida? No, I decided I had to skip RT this year, but at the end of the month (the 31st) I’m heading off to sunny Florida for 10 days (11 actually). I’ve got a friend that lives there that I haven’t seen since my wedding almost 2 years ago.

I’m so excited. I think we’re going to go to Universal Studios and maybe SeaWorld. We’re going to mostly skip Disney I think since the hubster is staying home and I think he’d get a little mad if I went without him.

I know it’s a month away but I’m already getting pretty excited. Are you looking forward to anything this summer?

We have a family reunion in Aug. where there will be relatives that we’ve never met. I’m looking forward to that but somewhat sad b/c Mom and Dad have passed away in the last couple of years and I wish the reunion would have been when they were still here.

Woo Hoo! Hubby and I love Disney World… But we haven’t made it there in a few years. Hmmm… maybe we should be going there instead of the beach this weekend. Oh well… Have lots of fun!

I’m looking forward to the Portland Highland Games here in Portland (duh). It’s so cool! Lots of hot burly guys running around with kilts. Yum, yum! :)

Congrats on the progress on the wip, Emma! That’s phenomenal.

I have no plans this summer. Other than to stay indoors–it gets hot as you-know-where in Arizona in the summer. :)

RobinL - Sounds like fun. We actually have family in Australia that just met some Canadian relatives a few years ago at a family reunion (the other side of the family) and now they’re quite close!

April - I’m jealous that you get to go to the beach!

But they say in Arizona it’s a dry heat!! (I’m betting that annoys the hell out of you, right?)

Sounds fun Kaitlin - I’m hoping to make my way back to the Pacific Northwest eventually.

Universal Studios is fun! :) My dh and I went two years ago and had a blast. There’s a Mexican restaurant (we couldn’t get into Emeril’s) that was amazing.

Way to go on the 16 pages!
