Damn spammers!!!
My blog keeps getting spammed, damn it!!
I know everyone on the interweb has one of these posts every few months, but damn it, it’s annoying! See, all of the obvious spam gets caught by my spam filter, so every few weeks I just go and delete it all. Annoying yes, but no big deal.
But the damn spammers are getting smarter. Now they’re posting in the regular comments, but not with tons of links that get caught by the spam filter, but honestly with scary, freaky ass comments.
Hopefully this will just be a temporary thing. I really don’t want to have to start moderating all of my comments. Damn spammers.
In other news, maintenace is finally supposed to come fix my dryer vent today! You may remember a few weeks ago when they came in and checked and left me a note saying “birds can’t get in apartment.”
Well, that was true, but it didn’t stop the birds from nesting in the damn dryer vent! So eventually the Hubster put duct tape on the vent, which kept the birds away, but also meant we couldn’t use the dryer.
So today, not only are we supposed to get a bird proof vent, they’re also supposed to come in and clean out all the sticks and stuff that the birds already left in there!
What can I say, my life is boring, this is the most excitement I get.
What’s your excitement for the week?

Emma, so sorry about the spammers. Rotten little buggers.
Excitement? What’s that?

totally unrelated - but i had a dream last night that your mom decided she wanted to have a baby, but instead of one baby, she ended up having triplets - two boys and a girl.
???
and as for the smells, there’s a certain musty type old house smell that i find in libraries and other places that reminds me of nana and papa’s house. otherwise, i think i’d have the same reaction if i went to my college dorm stairwells - dried, old beer. yum.

LOL Kristin - that was actually one of the smells I was thinking of - old people house!

Spammers… Don’t you wish there was something you could do to them like you can with telemarketers? You know putting them on hold forever when they call and other stuff. But with spammers, what can you do?
Glad to hear they’re finally fixing the dryer vent. Now the birdies can find a proper place to nest!

I hate spammers. Weird people! By the way, you were a finalist in my recipe contest. Stop by if you get a chance, and post your recipe! I also have some free books to send you if you can e-mail me your snail mail address. Thanks! :)
