So, I’m pretty sure I have birds nesting in my dryer vent.

I keep trying to scare them away, but they keep coming back. Either that or there’s some other animal living in my apartment. Frankly I’m not sure what option is worse.

So, the Hubster keeps saying I should call the maintenance people to come check out the bird situation (I called him practically in tears this morning ’cause I was sure one of them had actually made it the whole way down the venting tube and into the dryer). But, I’m afraid that if they’res a nest with eggs in it the maintenance people will just throw it away or something. (Did i mention I’m 4 stories up so I’m not sure how this would be accomplished anyway). But if they relocate it, will the mommy & daddy bird be smart enough to find it?

So, I’m torn between getting rid of the birdies and the fear of opening my dryer someday and having a bird fly out at me. The Hubster insists this couldn’t happen, but I think really he has his doubts.

Anyone have any suggestions?
