Hodgepodge
Well, I’m supposed to go meet my Dad and sister in DC for lunch and to see more cherry blossoms (they’re actually bloomming now). My sister (step sis if you want to get technical) went home to Pittsburgh for the weekend and Dad is supposed to be bringing her back today.
It’s a bit overcast and there is a chance of rain, but otherwise it seems like a nice day for cherry blossoming. Yesterday was an abosolutely beautiful day! Sunny and warm. The weatherman said it was only in the high 60’s but I have to say it felt like the 80’s at least.

Also, I got my first round edits back for Tempting Fate! Yikes!!
I won’t lie - it looks WAY intimidating, but I know that once I can un-freak-myself out, and get cracking, it’ll be a much better story - and this is already a book that I LOVE so I’m thrilled about it being BETTER!

The car shopping went well the other day. Didn’t come home with one, but decided on a Toyota Matrix (I know kung fu!). Now we just have to work out financing with the bank and go sign our lives away for a piece of metal.

The other car that would now be second on my list is the Honda Element (click on the boxes in the bottom left). Yes, I admit that I would buy that car simply because of the commercials. How does a platypus learn the word hodgepodge?

And finally, I really want to write, but it doesn’t seem like it’ll make it on the agenda for today. I started a new story the other day (bad Emma - you have other books to write) and I’m really excited about it. I think it’s going to be a kind of standard romance plot, but totally sexified! And I think it’ll be a 3 book series!

So, what’s up with your week?

Hope you had fun in D.C.. And congrats on picking out a car. Hubby wants a new chrystler, but we’re 3 payments away from paying his current car off. So, we decided to wait a while. It’ll be nice not to have the payments!
