Pictures
My laziness must have carried over into yesterday because apparently I forgot to blog (and I could have sworn I did). Oh well, I must be beginning that descent into madness. Whataya gonna do?
And to top it off, I really don’t have anything to say either.
So I’ll just post a few pictures that I took at the Cherry Blossom/Kite Festival the other day. They prove that spring really is here!
Here are some cherry blossoms just starting to…well…blossom.
You can see that there weren’t very many trees in full bloom.
This one is one of my favorites. You can see lots of kites, plus the WW2 Memorial, the reflecting pond, all the way down to the Lincoln Monument. I was sitting at the base of the Washington Monument and the kites you can see in the sky here are only a miniscule amount of the total.
So, how do you know that Spring has arrived in your part of the world?

Cool pictures! Thanks for sharing!
Spring - well, the kids stay out every single day after school and homework doesn’t get done until mom is screaming…er :-) telling them to come in and get it done — that it’s bed time already and they haven’t eaten or anything.
:-) That would be how I know its spring time. :-)
