I ventured into the wild world of Friday night grocery shopping too, but hubby didn't tag along. We had milk, but it's set to expire on Tuesday. Tuesday. At least it was on sale.

I don't think people stop to think about how their attitude effects others enough. It's cheesy and sappy, but it's true that a smile can really change someone else's day. It's happened to me!

As for the person blocking the lane, I'm one of those people who apologizes to them as well. But I admit that I find myself adding, under my breath, "excuse me for needing to get down the isle!"

At the end, when I'm really pissed off, my hubby always gives me a hug and says, "sweetie, they're just having a horribly rotten day because they don't have me to come home to!" He's kidding... sort of. But it makes me smile!

I believe in live in the same world as you do; I so hate when clerks don't even have the decency to greet us - the customers- the ones paying for
their salary. It irritates me to no end.
