Happy Groundhog Day!
Six more weeks of winter.
I wonder if Phil’s prediction only counts in Punxatawney, ’cause at least where I am, winter ended a LONG time ago. We’ve had several 60 degree days around here. And I’m only a few hours away from Phil. Hmmm.
We leave our soda on the balcony (because it doesn’t all fit in the fridge) and when we’ve been bringing it in, it’s been warm.
Did you know that in 120 years he’s only NOT seen his shadow 14 times?
You can click on the Groundhog picture to be taken to the “official” Predicition page.

But now, an important question brought on my a minor sidenote in the post. Is it SODA or POP?
Happy 6 more weeks of winter!

Hi Emma! We too have had really unusual weather here. One day we get several inches of snow and then for the next four its in the fifty’s and all gone.
Mud. Thats my world right now. Lovely brown wet Mud.
With three boys and countless others traipsing through my house, ’cause they have friends that come over after school from the neighborhood, and of course they just have to show them something and it will only take a second… The lovely Mud and I are always at odds.
I seem to loose the battle every time or for that matter its really irrelevant by the time I enter battle - the floors are already all muddy. :( But I guess it gives me something to do! :) I wasn’t doing anything anyhow, now was I? :)
Have fun writing! And I call soda by both - soda and pop. Just depends what comes out of my mouth at that moment! :)

I haven’t worn a jacket more than twice the entire winter. And I’m guessing there’s no chance of the annual flurries we have. Darn it.
I second Kendra on the “Coke” but I also say soda. Had a friend from Va who used to call it pop. Confused the dickens out of me when I was a kid. For some reason I kept thinking of ccandy when she said it. Maybe it was a poprocks flash back, I don’t know….
