Pie for breakfast

I’m off to go shopping, my friends!

Yes, I know it’s the busiest shopping day of the year, and everybody seems to say, “oh, I’d never do that,” yet, it continues to be the busiest shopping day of the year.

Black Friday.

This is the first Black Friday since college that I don’t have to work in retail. And what am I doing? Going shopping, baby!!

As you know, stores open insanely early on Black Friday, and every year, I requested the earliest shift as possible. Now, not only was it a way to get to go home early, but the early shoppers are the best shoppers - at least in the malls where I worked.

Those are the people that know they’re crazy for being up at 5am to shop. We’d get people when we opened at 5 that were already finished. We were their last stop. Like I said, crazy.

So, I just jumped on the bed to wake the Hubster up and we’re headed into the madness.

But not before I eat pumpkin pie for breakfast.

Oh, and in case I have a chance to whisper in Santa’s ear…What do you want for Christmas?

I want what I always want — books and CDs. Or gift certificates to stores where I can buy books and CDs. Also, the turkey and rice soup recipe is up on my blog.

I love pie at breakfast; anytime in fact. Wow, wished I had some pumpkin pie right now.
What I want is a charm for my Italian charm bracelet that reminds me of my Dad who passed away 2 months ago.

What I want is for my jewelry to sell so I can use the money to buy my girls Christmas gifts. Think Santa can make that one happen? LOL I’m gonna have cheesecake for breakfast. Yum!

Huh-What do I want for Christmas? Books, money for books, and some sheets for my bed. Very simple, right?

I just want a vacation! A new house would be nice too

I’m asking for trhe same thing I ask for every year — a Medici patron who allows me not to go into the office! Other than that, I think I’d ask to be done with the manuscript I’m working on.

I made it to the mall yesterday — although it was only to pick up the iBook from the Genius Bar since it’d been out for repair. We parked across the street and walked, which probably cut at least half an hour off the trip.

I avoid Black Friday like the plauge! I’m the person who goes out Dec 23 and does it all in one fell swoop though

I want a new kitchen *sigh* barring that, I need new perfume and I’d be happy to take gift cards to Pier 1, Target, or Barnes and Noble
