So, I went to see it yesterday. NO SPOILERS if you’ve read the books.

It was, eh. Kind of like the rest of the movies, it’s just about impossible to pick and choose what to put in the movie and what to leave out. Like the rest, it was semi-successful, I thought.

The movie assumes that you’ve read the book, but then if you have read the book then you know that a lot of stuff is missing.

I loved the interaction between Harry, Ron and Hermione in this movie. It’s hilariously teenage angst-y. The whole Yule ball thing was realy funny, and the movie had lots of laugh out loud moments - which is saying a lot for me because I don’t laugh at a lot of movies.

It was a little scary for the younger kids, I think. Well deserving of it’s PG-13 rating, I thought. The kids in the theatre didn’t seem to be too scared, but I can’t imagine that they got much of the movie either.

So, there’s my rundown. Let me know what you think when you see it.
