It’s been so hot and humid around here, it’s been killing me.

I’ve been suffereing from major homesickness for the drabness of Stattle. And now…finally…for the first time since July…IT’S RAINING!!

I love rain and horribly miss the rainy Pacific Northwest.

I mena, the summer’s were beautiful there, but there weren’t hot and humid and sucky like they are here. But around this time in Seattle, it gets really dark really early and then it starts to rain.

No, it’s not quite rain. It’s misty. Constanly dreary and wet, though not always big drops.

So I’m thrilled that it’s raining today. The smell of rain is one of my favorite things in the world. And it’s supposed to keep raining for the week!

So I’ll just spend the rest of the day listening to the rain with the door open, the smell wafting in. And maybe I’ll get a little bit of writing done, too.
