Reading

It’s killing me that I have a brand new stack of books to be read - books that I really want to read, but I don’t have time to get to them.

It’s killing me that I still haven’t read the latest Dark Hunter book!!

I downloaded a bunch of ebooks before my trip, and I’ve read one of them - and it was mostly just skimming more than reading. Books are staring at me, calling to me, but I’ve got too many proposals to work on.

Darn requests are interfering with my reading.

So, what are you reading? Tell me about it so I can live vicariously through you!

I’m reading Better Read Than Dead by Victoria Laurie. Second in the series. I like it. Just finished Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy which didn’t suck. Next up is Undead and Unappreciated by MJD if I can locate it in the house!

And btw, isn’t Jaci fabulous? And not scary at all, is she?

I read What Dreams May Come the day after I got back from Reno. It didn’t do a whole lot for me overall, but I thought Robin’s story was the best of the bunch.

I also read Sins of the Night — finally!! Lots of clues about Ash and a good romance, too.

Read A Taste of Crimson by Marjorie M Liu, the 2nd in the Crimson City series. Really enjoyed it. One of the best kick-ass heroines I’ve ever read.

Also read The Immortal Highlander by Karen Marie Moning. That is One Hot Fairy!!

And I finally read Sasha White’s erotic novella, Gypsy Heart. Wonderful stuff. Glad I read it, even if it was 3 a.m.

It was so great to finally meet you in Reno — I’m only sad we weren’t able to see more of each other.
